We incorporate sustainable principles into our projects for their practical benefits and as a matter of principle. For instance, we designed the first sustainable student housing in Ontario, and reduced energy use by 45% at a new engineering building in British Columbia. It doesn’t stop with institutions. We are working on a large mixed use project in Toronto that couples hydronic heating and cooling with ground source geothermal energy. We are working in the Bahamas to reclaim environmentally sensitive lands that was a former industrial site, and to develop a sustainable new community there. With a number of LEED‘ equivalent projects in our portfolio, and a team commitment to sustainable design, we stay on top of advanced building science.
