ROLLESTON
A creative architectural designer and experienced project manager, Heather Rolleston serves as Project Architect or Designer for several of the studio’s most innovative mixed use and open space projects. Many of these involve ambitious projects on historically significant sites: in Toronto, the Pure Spirit condominium development in the 19th century Distillery District, The Toronto Brick Works, and St. James Cathedral precincts; and the expansion of the Canadian Chancery in an historic precinct of The Hague, the Netherlands.
Prior to joining architectsAlliance in 2000, Heather’s experience also includes the design of the inaugural exhibition at the Bata Shoe Museum, and the creation of nightclub, restaurant and retail environments – demonstrating her ability to apply creativity at the scale of large urban precincts and to intimate personal spaces. Her broader involvement in the profession includes an ongoing educational connection to the University of Waterloo, and to the University of Toronto, from which she graduated in 1994.
