With 20 years of experience and a multi-disciplinary educational background in Environmental Studies, Science, and Architecture, Pia Heine applies all her resources and commitment to the studio’s architectural clients. She has participated in a diverse range of projects at the firm, from residential to mixed use and academic. Her credits include the Kendall Square mixed use project in Cambridge, MA; a Great Gulf residential building in Denver, CO; an engineering building at the University of British Columbia, and an academic research centre at the University of Toronto.
With a tenacious attention to managing detail, schedule, quality of design and precise working drawings, she currently is the Associate responsible for two large-scale condominiums in downtown Toronto, and two more condominium buildings near Toronto’s waterfront. Before joining architectsAlliance in 2002, Pia managed the design and construction of 10 elementary and secondary schools in Ontario, and was involved in the design of the Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara Falls.
