Norman has 20 years experience in master planning, programming, and the design of scientific research and pharmaceutical facilities. Norman leads business development for aA’s Life Sciences group which includes the multiple award-winning Terrence Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Bio-Molecular Research at the University of Toronto and the Niagara Health and Biosciences Research Complex currently being built at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario.

Norman has delivered projects for some of the world’s largest health research focused companies and renowned institutions including University Health Network in Toronto, Carleton University in Ottawa, Apotex, Glaxo Smith Kline and Pfizer. His particular area of expertise is project leadership and the delivery of complex building types that demand the highest level of integration of architecture and engineering services. Norman is particularly effective in working with multiple stakeholder groups through an inclusive design process that achieves consensus among client groups and design team members in the delivery of well conceived and coordinated building solutions.

Norman is a UK qualified architect from the University of Sheffield and a LEED accredited professional.
